Lighting the siluhette of old Jaffa

Lighting the silhouette of old Jaffa was a contest by the city hall of Tel Aviv, which we won the first prize.
Lighting the silhouette of old Jaffa was a contest by the city hall of Tel Aviv, which we won the first prize.
The target was to bring back the beautiful image of the hill of old Jaffa.
Our concept was an image like a big ship, with the st. Peter church on the top of the hill, the old soup factory, and the sea wall, all
Flouting above the sea shore of the bay.
Which was once the main port of the Middle East.
The sea wall is 450 meter long LED pipe that was custom made
For this project, and was based on green, blue, and cold white,
The LEDS was installed in a transparent pipe especially designed for sea environment. All the LEDS are controlled by le d DMX system and make 3 waves of white light, rolling with the same rhythm as the sea, the wet air by the sea make the wall to be continued with the wall of light.
